I recommend you Shaolin soccer, it has almost all the cast and same director of the Kung Fu Hustle, besides their other film called: Cj7 (I have not watched it but I have read is a cool movie too).

I'll take your advice about "Shaolin Soccer". Sounds great.

I love kung-fu movies in general, especially the funny ones.

Then tell me if you liked it when you watch it! Smile

I will. I may not get to watch it until the weekend. I usually watch those kinds of movies with my youngest daughter, and she probably won't have time to watch until this weekend.

Still planning to watch "Shaolin Soccer", but my youngest daughter, a university student, has been so busy lately she hasn't had the free time, and we will watch it together. I told her about it, though, and she wants to watch it, too, so we should watch it sometime soon.

Meanwhile, have you seen this?

Don't worry, watching movies with the family is always funny.

When you both can, watch the full movie in internet not the cut one (Netflix has the cut one, and Imo the full one has interesting and funny scenes).

I have not but I am gonna google it and tell to my mom if she wants to watch it, so thanks for the recommendation!

Hey! My youngest daughter and I just got finished watching "Shaolin Soccer".

Fantastic film!

It was hilarious! We both loved it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry it took us so long to see it, but we had a hard time finding the time to watch it together.

@rmstevens2

I'm glad you both liked it, the whole movie is basically a comedy but has scenes that could make you sad, angry, worried among other emotions.

The soccer matches are clearly inspired in Supercampeones (Captain Tsubasa) even the ball-tiger in fire in the final match was a reference of the tiger shoot by Kojiro.

The awakening of Shaolin players was my fav scene, the way they took poses like Buddhist statues + the song was phenomenal!

What about you? What were your fav scene?

Probably my favorite scene is the same as yours, but I also like it when Miu shows up with her head shaved to serve as goalie, walks into a goal post and then tries to take a position in the wrong goal.

Jajaja that scene was funny and my fav dialogue was before that, when the protagonist said that she looked like E.T. and she has to return to her planet lol

There was nothing really on last night, so I decided to watched:

Which, for the most part, was an enjoyable movie if you're interested in the subject.

‘Lincoln’: Film Review
Daniel Day-Lewis stars as the 16th president in the historical drama directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Tony Kushner.

Yeah, I was surprised by that. It was hilarious.

Now I know that if I see an ad for a film by Stephen Chow, it's worth watching.
