I just finished the spanish movie called "Hermana muerte" the prequel of "Verónica", both are horror films.

Five nights at Freddy's and Aquaman 2, I watched them recently too.
Hermana muerte and Veronica sound good and it's on Netflix.

They are decently good, I prefer Verónica movie more over Hermana muerte tbh.

I recommend you "Malnazidos", it's another Spanish movie but about zombies, and I love everything related with them lol so I enjoyed this movie a lot, it's on Netflix too.
Samurái X: Inicios
Samurai X: El fin
Watched a South Korean film called "Parasite" a couple of nights ago with English subtitles. Weird film, but well made and interesting. The plot took some twists I totally did not expect.

I also watched an old martial arts comedy called "Kung-fu Hustle" in Chinese with English subtitles. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hilarious, but with good fighting sequences (although the laws of physics were routinely violated).

When I watch foreign films, I prefer English subtitles to dubbing.

Uff Kung-Fu Hustle (I like more in spanish: Kung-fusión, because is mixed in just a word xd) is super funny, I warched it when I was like 10 years and I still enjoy it as it was the first time.

I recommend you Shaolin soccer, it has almost all the cast and same director of the Kung Fu Hustle, besides their other film called: Cj7 (I have not watched it but I have read is a cool movie too).

I'll take your advice about "Shaolin Soccer". Sounds great.

I love kung-fu movies in general, especially the funny ones.

I will. I may not get to watch it until the weekend. I usually watch those kinds of movies with my youngest daughter, and she probably won't have time to watch until this weekend.

Still planning to watch "Shaolin Soccer", but my youngest daughter, a university student, has been so busy lately she hasn't had the free time, and we will watch it together. I told her about it, though, and she wants to watch it, too, so we should watch it sometime soon.

Meanwhile, have you seen this?

I have watched a number of good Chinese movies, as my wife is from China. She prefers American movies, though. Anything that has Jason Statham are her favorites. One of my favorite Chinese movies is The Grandmaster with Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi. It is a biographical fiction/truth about the early life of Ip Man. Takeshi Kaneshiro, a Japanese/Chinese actor has a number of good movies, such as House of the Flying Daggers, which is a prequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and a movie called Dragon with Donnie Yen and Tang Wei. All of these are action/kung fu movies.
Speaking of martial arts films, one of my absolute favorites is Blood sport. Fantastic fight choreography and excellent soundtrack.
