New Split in E-P177 Level?
#1
Recently on YFull I've noticed that the E-P177 level of the YTree (which currently has 98 SNPs) has now split, with the "new" E-P177 level having 13 SNPs and an E-M557 level with 85 SNPs. Obviously there has recently been an E-P177* sample that split the subclade on YFull. Does anyone have any more information about this?

I assume it's the split that FTDNA reported a while ago: https://genarchivist.com/showthread.php?tid=579
Maybe the sample has been uploaded to Yfull, or they shared the info.

Thanks for the link! It seems that the sample would likely be from Yemen then. Really cool to see people discovering these rare subclades.

Totally agree, wish there was more DNA testing from that area (although there are quite a few Somali testers).
