Reviving this thread from Anthrogenica.

To start off, YFull has posted some samples from the paper Genetic identification of members of the prominent Báthory aristocratic family by Gînguță et. al.

Sample: ERS16008103, 1500-1600 CE, Y-DNA: I-Y125026, mtDNA: H7c4a1a
Sample: ERS16008099, 1500-1600 CE, Y-DNA: R-Y4380, mtDNA: A26a* (shared with sample SSG_M10A)
Sample: ERS16008098, 1500-1600 CE, Y-DNA: R-FGC71023, mtDNA: H7e*
Sample: ERS16008094, 1500-1600 CE, Y-DNA: R-BY18860* (shared with sample ERS16008092 from this paper), mtDNA: H1c29a*
Sample: ERS16008092, 1500-1600 CE, Y-DNA: R-BY18860* (shared with sample ERS16008094 from this paper), mtDNA: H13a1a1a* (shared with sample I15045)

On FTDNA the Bathory clan being completely surrounded by Germans, like expected:

Kind of shows how few German, mostly German Americans, test on YFull (unfortunately). But great to have them uploaded.

The Báthory family is the member of the Gutkeled clan, which is originally Swabian, so no surprise with this.

Do you think mitochondrial subclade is reliable? Yfull gives only 3,000 ybp to U5a1d2b1b
What radiocarbon dating does that sample NEO538 have?

The gap between the sample date and the YFull mtDNA TMRCA estimate reminds me of something I've been wondering about of late: have there been any interesting ancient samples recently that considerably predate YFull's TMRCA estimate for the marker in question? Conversely there might be some that seem to fit perfectly with their methodology.

I realise the dangers of the mtDNA game compared with Y DNA of course, but I've wondered about the implications of a potentially wildly wrong TMRCA estimate for my own V78 mitochondrial haplogroup and imagine we must have some good test cases by now to start getting a picture of the reliability of YFull's estimates.

Unfortunately i don't think team YFULL ,in present can corrected TMRCA MTree , ages of MTree is not logical especially subclade under Haplogroup HV
