That is correct. When I started this a few years ago, there was no FTDNA database, so I was solely using project numbers. Once the database became public, I kept the same format but added extra columns for the corresponding database numbers.
For example, on the U152 row, there were 3521 members of the FTDNA U152 project last year and 3772 on 12/31/2023, a 7.1% annual increase.
Last year there were 8474 U152 samples in the FTDNA database and on 12/31/2023 there were 10874, a 28.3% annual increase

This increase of 28,3% is too huge, R1a-YP417 has an increase of almost 100% in the database. I think it is because of the Y-haplgroups from FamilyFinder-test. The increase on project memebers' numbers is more in line with the statistics from previous years. It could be relevant to collect the data around the summer when FTDNA should have released Y-haplogroups from older FamilyFinder-tests.
