DATES (Distribution of Ancestry Tracts of Evolutionary Signals) is a method to estimate the time of admixture in ancient DNA samples described in Narasimhan, Patterson et al. 2018
Has anyone messed with this program much? I've known about it for a while, but never played with it. Wondering if it's worth the effort?

Maybe I was using it wrong (IIRC I had the default setting), but it didn't pass a sanity test, which was get a realistic and consistent date of mixture for early Native American populations.
