Thought this r/23andMe thread warranted the creation of a GenArchivist thread on Sub-Saharan results

Quote:Both my parents are from Côté D’ivoire and are from the same tribe (The Anyi/Agni people). I already knew that my ancestry would be pretty homogeneous based on info from them, but I didn’t think it would be as high as 100% lolll ?

Quote:Like that one boondocks episode ??... The one where uncle ruckus finds out hes a 102% african with a 2% margin of error ☠️

Quote:Never seen a 100% West African on here before! Very cool

Quote:Has to be the first 100% from this region I've ever seen on here

It’s a shame we don’t have more west African ancient samples, a very understudied part of the region. What they have found so far seems to be a dead end for those of us with west African ancestry
