Questions related to "Slavic" studies and some more.
#1
I have two questions at the moment. The first concerns ancient DNA, the second - modern samples.

1. Does anyone know the names and contacts of scientific groups that are researching or planning to research the DNA of early Slavs in the future? I know about the existence of a skull from the period of the Prague-Korchac culture, which comes from the settlement of Rashkiv on the Middle Dniester (Ukraine). It was not cremated, because he was most likely the victim of a domestic murder. The skull was fractured, most likely from a blow with something heavy like an axe. Apparently, to hide the traces of the murder, the body was dismembered, and the head was buried in a garbage pit under the floor of the house. Therefore, we have the only remains of the period of the Prague-Korchac culture in the region where its "core" was located. I don't think the researchers are aware of the existence of this skull, so it would be nice to let them know.

2. Does anyone have G25 coordinates of Western and Southern Slavs, as well as Hungarians who did not get into the official G25 spreadseet?

I can send you some simulated cords of Hungarians if sims are also useful to you.

I need to see how they will behave on the PCA, since, for example, K36-G25 have a different spread on the plot than real G25. Otherwise, I will have to limit myself to those standard samples that exist.

Ah, yes I understand. I have the G25 cords of around 20-30 hungarians, most of them are simulated as far as I know but I can ask them if by any chance some of them paid for the real cords.

Regarding your first question. The authors of these studies already took sample from different sites of medieval Ukraine but you can try to contact them, maybe they can help you.

Is this skull from Rashkiv in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast?

They are still looking for it in the funds. There is another skull, from the Chernihiv region, dated by the radiocarbon method to the 6th-7th century AD. So, if you have access to geneticists, you can offer them.

Are they simulated or real G25?

It seems to me that only the Yamnaya culture from the territory of Ukraine had an admixture of European farmers. Yamnaya from the Don and Volga valleys did not have such an admixture.

Real coordinates.

It's good, if you want - you can share. The more samples - the better we can see certain "tendencies" and drifts on the plot.

I'm sending only coordinates for people who are 100% from one region of Poland:

Wlkp stands for Wielkopolska, in this case I subdivided this region into subregions:
