This is not about imagination, but an astute observation & interpretation of facts-: what could it mean if genetically Uralic folk show a material culture mixed of 'Siberian' and Nordic -Germanic elements dating to 1500 BC ?

My only reference to the archaeological observations made for sites in Kola around -1500 is the text by Murashkin et al. The authors point out that contacts, direct or indirect, existed between the Kola Peninsula and Scandinavia (including southern Scandinavia). From there to affirm that these guys from BOO constitute a first wave (or even simply a foretaste) of "Uralic" settlers and that their language is the receptacle of the oldest loanwords (pre-Proto-Germanic), there is a distance that I cannot cross. Believe me, if there were solid signs of such an avant-garde, I would jump on them like a hungry carp on the slightest earthworm, because nothing would please me more than a way to cling back to a deep chronology for Germanic-Uralic contacts.
