I'm not surprised at this at all, since it seems a lot of the 'hacking' was actually due to poor coding on the site, and a failure to implement 2 factor authentication from the beginning, which 23andme of all providers touting its health credentials should have done. Presumably if she becomes the sole private owner, she could also be personally bankrupted by the pending lawsuits over the data leak.
