Can you show a picture of theese genetic groups? I really want to see how it looks on the map.
Did you got all the groups at the same time or one by one?

Kind regards

I don't have my wife's but here's how it looks. This is accurate to where my paternal and maternal grandmothers' families were mostly from.

Thumbs Up
An update. Nice, finally have an update to 20% of my DNA.

20%, one place, Ticino and Grisons Switzerland, in the write up they mention some possible overlap into Jura. A good update.

My father has Grisons. His mother's side was German with Mediterranean admixture (Sicilian & North African) and some of the family had lived South of Bern.

The F&G “update” has been interesting. My maternal geandma received Paris Basin in April 2024 (correct).

My mom (half French - no GC locations etc…), myself or cousin haven’t updated since July 2022.

I checked my wife’s account, she also has Central Swabia, NW German Plain and Grisons and Ticino with 11.4% F&G and extremely distant German ancestry.

I’ve also got 25% German from my paternal grandma and have had an incorrect Berlin for years.

The inconsistency of this update is confusing. Perhaps one day they’ll update others too.

I've finally broken down and ordered an upgrade.  My current results are based on the v2-v3 chips, so obviously I haven't been getting any updates for a while.  Now I get to have the joy of waiting again (and waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting).

I'll let people new when I get my results.

Hmm. I do not think it is worth it when G25 results and comparisons are available and used. My problem is I have various interesting results on different platforms, but no reference on multiple platforms (at least 23andMe, Ancestry), so comparison of ancestral groups is a lot harder then when using G25.
I have looked at https://you.23andme.com/ but could not find an upgrade option for results which should be V3 or older. Can you write what the costs are and where to order? The improvements of V5 results I have access to do not look very impressive to me - need to see an older report I should have backed up.

$79, plus $9.99 shipping.  For a while now, there's been an "upgrade" button visible at initial login.

Yes, I've done it, got my update afterwards, but the current one being not delivered yet. Its basically a second test, with a new sample and processing etc.
