I've seen one of their representatives state in a video that the update would be free for everyone tested on their latest chip, which they started using around April 2019.

I'm not sure of what that entails for those who have uploaded their raw data.

Regarding the specific date of release, it hasn't been disclosed so far, and no one seems to have been able to dig it up. They have mentioned "late June" a couple of times though, so we might have to wait a few more weeks.

Call me naive and hopeful, but I'm really looking forward to this update. Since MyHeritage has a massive database, is the day finally coming when we see them fixing their awful algorithm and becoming as reliable as 23andme and AncestryDNA for ethnicity estimates, perhaps? One can dream.

I uploaded my raw data in 2018.

The results were garbage, as I've said many times before, so even if I DO get the update I'm not holding out hope.

Then, I should suposse that testers who proved in 2018 (like my case), won’t receive new update? Being so, I’m not going to pay other test for obtaining last update…

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like I’m going to be getting an update because my results are from an upload. On the other hand, if it looks like they’ve finally gotten their act together, I can see buying a test down the road. When it’s on sale for a reasonable price.

Nice, this DNA test was the first one I bought for me and my family; my paternal grandma passed away a month ago, but I'm glad to know that she'd still receive updates from this company.

Hmmm.....Italy and Veneto are impressive.

But how do they get 16% Irish/Scottish/Welsh and 17% Balkan out of your background?

the Croatian Islands plus Istria for balkan matches

Irish etc ....I can only see as maybe celts ( continental celts to britain ) ??.................my British matches have zero English......only have scots, irish, welsh and cornish

as per previous post......I used High only
