A possible breakthrough - firemonkey - 04-08-2024 After about 2 decades of trying in vain to find a baptism/birth for my 4gt William, it's possible, thanks to a kind person who checked Find my past for me, that he's been found. There is a First name(s) William Last name Gatty Baptism year 1777 Baptism date 01 Mar 1777 Father's first name(s) Samuel Father's last name Gatty Mother's first name(s) Mary Parish Irnham & Corby Glen, St Mary Diocese Nottingham County Lincolnshire Country England Register type Baptisms, marriages & deaths Record set England Roman Catholic Parish Baptisms Category Birth, Marriage, Death & Parish Records Subcategory Parish Baptisms Collections from England, Great Britain A Samuel Gatty married Elizabeth Moulds 30 Aug 1770 in Corby, Lincolnshire. He lived a long life. First name(s) Samuel Last name Gatty Birth year 1739 Age 90 Death year 1829 Death date 12 Jul 1829 Burial year 1829 Residence Corby Parish Irnham & Corby Glen, St Mary Diocese Nottingham County Lincolnshire Country England Register type Confirmations, marriages & deaths Record set England Roman Catholic Parish Burials Category Birth, Marriage, Death & Parish Records Subcategory Parish Burials Collections from England, Great Britain I have a DNA cousin match at Ancestry to a Bending who has Mould(s) from Lincolnshire. My late father's DNA matches to a Rosario. She has among her ancestors an Elizabeth Moulds born 1823 Lincolnshire. Her family tree is small, so she hasn't traced her ancestry back very far. I also have a DNA match to Schaffner whose Mould(s) seem to have come from England, but were early settlers in Maryland,USA. They were planters. Schaffner has Goatley ancestors.
