MyHeritage did deactivate its chromosome browser in response to the new threats, as did 23andMe before. This mighlt really hurt future research and customer trust, which is the worst part of the story.
I remember there was some kind of US federal inquiry into the health genomics aspect of 23andMe a few years ago, now I wonder if federal authorities had any clue what kind of API access 23andMe gave to 3rd parties (such as companies in the health industry or research institutions mining genetic data)

23andMe has yet to disclose the number of compromised accounts and the potential reach to additional customer DNA Relative profiles. Given reports of data leaks involving AJ, British, German, and Chinese data, it appears that almost everyone who actively shares to their DNA Relatives could be impacted. Therefore, it is imperative that 23andMe provides a clarification in this regard.
The chrom browser at MyHeritage is back again, in the mean time FTDNA prohibits upload of 23andMe files.
I haven't checked my 23andme since my last post here. Who knows if they have fixed things yet.
I noticed AncestryDNA's message is going to require a two factor authentication soon. I'm guessing due to this.

I activated my 2FA at 23nMe as well. Probably a good thing they all do it. Give peace of mind. Last thing we want is for people to stop testing and sharing.

Y-DNA haplogroup O-F1150 is not particularly common among peoples who speak Austronesian languages.
O-F1150 (TMRCA
20420 ybp according to Chinese genomics company 23mofang) is the more common of the two primary subclades of Y-DNA haplogroup O2b-F742. Haplogroup O2b-F742 (TMRCA 23830 ybp; accounts for approximately 1.15% of all males in present-day China according to 23mofang) is the less prominent sister clade of haplogroup O2a-M324 (TMRCA 25460 ybp; accounts for a majority of present-day Chinese males, a plurality of males in present-day Korea and Vietnam, etc.). O2a-M324 and O2b-F742 share a most recent common ancestor in haplogroup O2-F36 approximately 28160 ybp according to 23mofang.
If Mr. Musk does belong to Y-DNA haplogroup O-F1150, I would guess that his patrilineal ancestor is most likely to be Chinese, but members of this clade have been found sparsely pretty much everywhere in East and Southeast Asia (where they also may ultimately have descended from Chinese patrilineal ancestors, but O-F1150 should have a Paleolithic origin according to 23mofang's TMRCA estimate, and the history and structure of this clade have not been researched in depth).

So, if Mr. Musk's Y-DNA haplogroup were resolved further to O-F1024, then one could say with some confidence that his patrilineal ancestor is probably Chinese (or at least Sino-Tibetan). If his haplogroup were resolved further to O-Y238031 and especially O-Y239069, then there is a decent likelihood that his patrilineal ancestor may in fact have been some sort of Austronesian person, though not necessarily a Malagasy.

I have taken a closer look at the structure of O-F1150.
The O-F1150 > O-BY56049 > O-Y238031/O-F15501 > O-Z17557 subclade (TMRCA 3540 ybp according to 23mofang) appears to have a certain presence among Chinese people. 23mofang states that "O-Z17557 is a branch under O-F742. It is currently distributed mainly in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, etc., accounting for approximately 0.12% of the national male population. This type should have undergone a certain degree of population growth during the Shang-Zhou era."
However, O-BY56049(xZ17557) appears to be very rare in China. 23mofang lists only three members of O-BY56049 > O-MF309667 (TMRCA 1770 ybp), including a Han Chinese surnamed Zhao from Gaochun District, Nanjing, Jiangsu and a Han Chinese surnamed Zhang from Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang. 23mofang also lists precisely one member of O-Y238031(xZ17557), but that individual is indicated to be from Singapore.
So, even if Mr. Musk did belong to O-Y238031, it may be more likely that he should be of Chinese ancestry if he belongs to the O-Z17557 subclade. O-BY56049(xZ17557) has actually been detected already among the (Austronesian-speaking) pre-Chinese population of Singapore and its immediate vicinity (i.e. the Orang Seletar), and O-BY56049(xZ17557) seems to be very rare among Chinese people, so an assignment of his Y-DNA to O-BY56049(xZ17557) may suggest Austronesian ancestry rather than Chinese ancestry.
According to FTDNA, O-FT1794/O-BY56049 > O-FT2026/O-Y239069 has been found in one individual from Malaysia, one individual from Singapore, two individuals from Indonesia, and one individual of unknown origin and has an estimated TMRCA of 5,887 (95% CI 7,879 - 4,336) ybp. So, currently available data really do seem to suggest that O-BY56049 > O-F15501 > O-Z17557 may be primarily Chinese, O-BY56049 > O-F15501 > O-FT2026/Y239069 may be primarily Austronesian, and their MRCA in O-Y238031/O-F15501 should have lived approximately 13550 ybp according to 23mofang's estimate.
If anybody has some information regarding the following please let me know. I attempted to set up a 2 step verification process on my 23andMe account but was unable. So I called their customer service. The agent told me I have to have an authenticator app on my mobile device to get a code in order to set this up. He suggested several but they all required a purchase. I told him I am not paying for an app to set up a 2 step verification as I am already offended that my information was leaked. I asked if he could just provide me with a code but he said he could not. I ask if there was a free site for an authenticator but he never answered. I was not angry with the customer service agent, as he was just the front line serf to do 23andMe's bidding. After I asked if the call was being recorded and he confirmed it was I proceeded to rip into the fools who let information be hacked and then are unable or unwilling to set up an easy, reasonable 2 step verification like I have on Ancestry, my bank, my credit cards and other sites. The agent finished by saying the 2 step verification isn't necessary. I said apparently it is since all my information and data has been hacked. If what this agent stated is true, I can't tell you how angry I am at the arrogance, incompetence and buffoonery of 23andMe. How come I can set up a 2 step verification at other sites with ease but not there? If anybody has knowledge regarding this, let me know if what I was told is correct.
